Proprioceptive Writing® (PW)
is a simple meditative writing practice that anyone can learn. We write together
to music and candlelight in 25 minute sessions taking the emphasis off writing,
and focusing on the experience of inner hearing. For writers and non-writers alike,
anyone interested in psychology, meditation and the life of the spirit will find
this work encouraging, clarifying and stimulating. We feature workshops
and retreats in Maine and Ireland.
Proprioceptive Writing
& Buddhist Meditation
Both Proprioceptive
Writing® and meditation
practices offer stunningly simple tools for the investigation of self, and the
cultivation of wisdom. The safety of the PW form leads one to a deep
inner listening which develops awareness, unburdens the mind and
builds self-trust..
